Just as you routinely maintaining a car by changing its oil every 3,000 miles, it is suggested that you have your piano tuned and checked over by a professional twice a year. Regular tunings can also be the best defense against costly repairs down. Along with maintaing your piano twice a year, the location in which the piano is placed can have a dramatic effect on its sound.
